The Bull Head (ブルヘッド Buru Heddo?) is one of Birdie's special attacks, introduced in Street Fighter Alpha and in Street Fighter V.

Input
Street Fighter Alpha Arcade Stick CB Arcade-Stick-Right + Arcade Button Punch
Street Fighter V Arcade Stick QCF+Arcade Button Punch

DescriptionEdit

Executed by performing a quarter-circle forward motion and pressing punch,. Birdie slides across the stage, rearing his head, and after a certain distance, headbutting whatver is currently in front of him. This move is related to the Bullhorn, but is activated differently and has three different versions. Initially, Bullhead and Bullhorn were exactly the same in appearance, but Birdie's body glows red with anger in Street Fighter Alpha 2, as well as in Street Fighter V. The length of the attack depends on the strength of the punch button pressed:

Version Effect
Arcade-Button-LPunch Barely travels half the stage while heavy punch travels more than the whole stage.
Arcade-Button-MPunch Travels most of the screen.
Arcade-Button-HPunch It is worth noting that the heavy punch version is a knock down attack, while the rest simply knock a foe backwards.
Arcade Button PunchArcade Button Punch Travels most of the screen and hits the opponent twice.

TacticsEdit

This move serves as one of Birdie's combo ender. It sends the opponent across the screen, allowing Birdie to build up V-Gauge, as well as reseting the neutral game. Birdie can also fish for a Crush Counter with his Standing Heavy Kick if the opponent quickly recovers. However, Birdie will be defenseless if the Bull Head is blocked.
