Executed by holding back, then pressing forward and kick, the attack is a simple rushing tackle. The distance Urien travels during this attack and the recovery time he requires are determined by the kick button used; light kick having the least in both areas, heavy kick having the most, with medium kick in between. The attack can be used liberally as a poke, being fairly safe on block so long as it is used from the correct distance. The attack is also EX-able, which, in Street Fighter V, tacks on a final hit where Urien slams his opponent to the ground with a powerful lariat after the tackle in a manner similar to his brother's Cyber Lariat.
- In Street Fighter IV, Abel and Seth have Focus Attacks that are visually similar to the Chariot Tackle, as seen below. In OMEGA Mode, Seth gains the actual Chariot Tackle as a new special move.
- Marvel Comics characters Colossus and Hulk have similar moves called "Power Tackle" and "Gamma Charge" in the Marvel vs. Capcom series.
- In the Super Smash Bros. series, Captain Falcon, Ganondorf and Samus all use a Dash Attack that bears much resemblance to, and may even be inspired by, the Chariot Tackle.
