Street Fighter V[]

RyuVTrigger

Ryu activating Denjin Renki.

When activated, Denjin Renki "electrifies" Ryu's Hadoken and Shoryuken. The Hadoken gains damage and stun, and also becomes charge-able; when fully charged, it will gain guard crushing properties, and leave a blocking opponent defenseless for several seconds. The Shoryuken gains increased damage and stun, and the medium version gains slightly more invincibility as well.[2] The Shinku Hadoken becomes a Denjin Hadoken, increasing the damage and lowering the startup time, but this will deplete the V-Gauge entirely and Critical Art Gauge entirely.

Ryu also has his punches enhanced, dealing extra stun while also having an extra two frames of advantage on hit. While in Denjin Renki, Ryu can link multiple punches together, creating brand-new combos off stray conversions.

Street Fighter 6[]

As a special move, Denjin Charge functions similar to various V-Skills like Angry Charge or Sumo Spirit, enhancing Ryu's next Hado-based attack. Hadoken gains an extra hit along with better juggle potential, while Hashogeki sends the opponent into a juggle state, or a crumple state from an OD Hashogeki. Additionally, the Shinku Hadoken and Shin Hashogeki deal more damage while Denjin Charge is active.
