China, officially the People's Republic of China, is a recurring country in the Street Fighter series. Many significant characters have hailed from here, most notably Chun-Li. It is quite famous and renowned throughout the entire world for its own historical landmark, the Great Wall of China, which is Lee's stage from the original Street Fighter and Chun-Li's stage in Street Fighter Alpha: Warriors' Dreams. Beijing is the country’s capital and the largest city is Shanghai. The country's official language is Chinese.
