Description[]

Ibuki using Kasumi Suzaku in Street Fighter IV

Ibuki throws a series of Kunai, two at a time, with the kunai spinning like shuriken instead of their usual straight flight.

As with the basic Kunai attack, the angle at which they are thrown is determined by the punch button pressed: light punch throws almost straight down, medium punch throws at a roughly 45° angle, and heavy punch throws the furthest. The attack can also be used during a Tsujigoe jump.

Pocket Fighter[]

Ibuki uses other projectiles besides Kunai, such as bombs, shurikens, and tanuki statues. In addition, her costume will briefly change to that of Rolento, referencing the similarity between the Kunai move and his Stinger. Another variant shows her throwing Kunai at a boulder to "carve" it into a statue of her opponent.

Trivia[]

  • Ibuki has used this attack against Q in the Case Closed mini segment.
