The Hazanshu (覇山蹴 Hazanshuu?, "Supreme Mountain Kick"), also known colloquially as the Axe Kick, is one of Chun-Li's special attacks, introduced in the Marvel vs. Capcom series.

Description
Executed by performing a half-circle rotation backwards and pressing kick, Chun-Li somersaults forward with one of her legs outstretched, slamming it into the ground as she lands. The Sen'enshu (from the Street Fighter Alpha series) and Hienshu (from the Street Fighter EX series) are precursors to this move.
It is best used as a quick assault move or a countering move. The length of the move depends on the strength of the kick button pressed, with the weakest barely stretching in front of her (good for close-up attacks), and the strongest stretching just about half the stage.
This move is best used as a counter for projectiles when throw at mid to close range. However, it is extremely vulnerable to anti-air attacks and invincible counters, and so should not be used too predictably.
The Sen'enshu (旋円蹴 Sen'enshuu?, "Spinning Circle Kick") launches Chun Li into the air in the Marvel vs. Capcom series, similar to its descendant, the Hazanshu. In the Alpha series, the Sen'enshu doesn't leave ground. A notable trait that also sets it apart from the Hazanshu is the increased startup, and the handstand rebound done beforehand.
Meanwhile in the EX series, the Hienshu (飛燕蹴 Hienshuu?, "Flying Swallow Kick") is an overhead flying heel slam while Chun-Li is still airborne, with both arms spread apart during her descent. The aforementioned Sen'enshu instead becomes her Guard Break/Surprise Blow instead.
In Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike and Street Fighter IV, this move also has an EX Special version. In 3rd Strike it goes straight up and then down, but in SFIV it moves forward about the same distance as the heavy version, although it rises very fast and comes down slower. Both EX versions of this move cause knockdown.
