Description[]
Executed by performing two quarter-circle forward motions and pressing kick, Gen jumps forward into the air. If he comes into contact with an airborne opponent, he locks his legs around their neck and slams them into the ground while rapidly spinning, stomping both feet onto the opponent's head (similar to his air throw). The angle of the jump and the distance traveled is determined by the kick button pressed; light kick is almost vertical, while heavy kick brings him to the far top corner of the screen.
In the Alpha games, the strength of the button pressed also determines how many times Gen stomps the opponent after he grabs them. Light kick stomps once, medium twice, and heavy 3 times.
Trivia[]
- Strider Hiryu uses the same animation for his air-based throw.
