E. Honda

The Orochi Breaker (震・大蛇砕き Shin Orochi Kudaki?, "Quaking Great Serpent Smasher") is E. Honda's second Ultra Combo, introduced in Super Street Fighter IV.

E. Honda finishing the move on Ryu.

Executed by performing two full-circle motions for either side and pressing all three punch buttons, Honda attempts to grab his foe; if successful, he then performs an Oicho Throw with an extremely high-flying powerful Sumo Smash. The resultant impact sends shockwaves out throughout the stage.

In Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition and Ultra Street Fighter IV (as of v1.04), its command is changed to two half-circle backward motions.

Although the move is not a zero-frame grab like other similar moves, it does give Honda invincibility for the first two frames of the move.

Orochi is Japanese for "the Great Serpent", an infamous evil entity within the legends of Susano'o, who's famous for slaying the creature and gaining the Ama-no-Murakumo no Tsurugi (later renamed the Kusanagi no Tsurugi).

  • This is the only Ultra Combo II used in Street Fighter IV Volt; the game uses only one Ultra Combo (normally their Ultra Combo I) per character.
