Richard Newman (born November 2, 1946 in Chicago, Illinois) is an American actor and voice actor who voiced General M. Bison in the 1995 TV series Street Fighter; this is is a particularly well known role voice performance by the actor, not unlike Raúl Juliá, the actor whom Newman emulated.
Newman is notable for his numerous voice roles in cartoons of the Transformers franchise. He joined Michael Donovan, Janyse Jaud, Scott McNeil and Venus Terzo to voice some characters in the 1997 English version of the animated film A Chinese Ghost Story: The Tsui Hark Animation. He works primarily in Canada and currently lives in Vancouver.
