|Street Fighter V||Critical Art||+|
Akuma channels an incredible amount of ki into his palm and drives it into the ground, striking the opponent with an exploding pillar of fierce energy. It is quite similar to the Tenchi Sokaigen and Kongou Kokuretsuzan in functionality.
Akuma has plenty of ways to combo into the Sekia Kuretsuha, although plenty of them involve the technique being canceled into by a Goshoryuken; because of this cancel, Akuma can end his most standard combo, involving a command normal into Tatsumaki Zankukyaku into a Goshoryuken, with the Critical Art. With its startup invincibility, it also makes for a powerful reversal or anti-air, however, when using his V-Trigger, Dohatsu Shoten, the Shun Goku Satsu also has the invincibility to serve these purposes.
The move can also be comboed out if landed in the corner. After the attack, the opponent is left in the air for just long enough to allow for Akuma to follow up with another Goshoryuken, which in turn can be canceled with his Dohatsu Shoten V-Trigger to continue the combo even further.
Using this move while in V-Trigger will deplete the V-Gauge in addition to the Critical Gauge, despite Sekia Kuretsuha having no relation to V-Trigger on its own.
- Akuma was first seen using this move in his Super Street Fighter IV ending. There, he destroyed a forest with it.
