Executed by performing a half-circle back motion and any kick button, Laura grabs hold of her opponent, hits them with a debilitating elbow strike, and slams them to the ground after a high-flying somersault. Its EX Special variant starts up with a short dash, allowing Laura to close some ground before performing the Sunset Wheel proper.
Sunset Wheel, being a command grab, cannot be escaped and cannot be blocked, making it a potent tool at close range and an optimal way to deal with defensive players. Like the vast majority of command grabs, it cannot be comboed into, nor comboed out of, though the knockdown provides Laura a chance to continue her offense.
