The Thunderbolt (サンダーボルト Sandāboruto?) is one of Dudley's special attacks, introduced in Street Fighter III: 2nd Impact. The move was removed in Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike, and it was added back with a different input in Super Street Fighter IV.

DescriptionEditExecuted by charging down, then moving up and pressing kick, Dudley leaps to the top of the screen, flips upside-down and dives fist-first straight down ("This is too easy!").
The damage and distance are determined by the kick button pressed; light kick version does the least damage and lands in front of the starting position; heavy kick version does the most damage and comes down half a screen away; and medium kick version is halfway between the two.
The EX Special version introduced in the Street Fighter III series hits up to five times in a "screwdriver motion", does the most damage and automatically lands where the opponent was when the move was activated, with Dudley calling the attack's name.
The attack is highly "telegraphed", and so is usually blocked or countered; however, at close range, it can potentially cross-up opponents. The EX Special version comes out much faster and can be used to punish an opponent who is blocking low.
